Overview

Evergreen has an opportunity for a Dishwasher to join its Culinary Services team!

Evergreen is a Christian, non-profit senior living organization serving older adults ages 55 and better. Located in a pleasant residential neighborhood in Oshkosh, Evergreen offers many options to meet unique needs.

  • Three styles of independent living accommodations
  • Two levels of assisted living plus memory care
  • Short-term rehabilitation and post-surgical care
  • Long-term skilled nursing
  • Evergreen At Home personal care and homemaker services

We are home to almost 250 residents, and also a destination for families, community members, volunteers, non-profit groups and other visitors.

 

Working hours will be 4:30pm-7:30pm for a total of 15 hours per two week pay period. Work on every other weekend and holiday is required.

Responsibilities

As a Dishwasher you will:

  • Clean dishes, pots, pans and utensils so they are ready for use.
  • Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean.
  • Provide food delivery service to all areas of Evergreen campus.
  • Assist with general cleaning responsibilities.
  • Build relationships with older adults in the place they call home.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, residents/clients and family members on a daily basis.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Prior bussing and dish washing experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in working with older adults preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • At least 16 years of age
  • “Can-do” attitude and a willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to communicate with all age groups
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills
